1. What is a Fractional Agency Senior Account Director?: We act in a variety of senior level marketing agency roles for as short or long of a term as you need. We’re designed to be temporary or permanent part-time depending on your specific agency needs. If you need someone to lead and coach your junior account managers permanently but you don’t want the full expense of a VP Client Service, we can help. If you have an Account Director on a short-term leave, we can help. If you’re a US agency needing boots on the ground in the Toronto area to serve only one client, we can help. 2. How Does a Fractional Account Team Leader Fit Into My Agency?: We operate exactly like a full-time Senior Account Director would. You can add us to your employee list on your website. We use your equipment, your email address and we operate discreetly so your clients only see us as your team member. We’re very professional so if we receive an email on one of our non-contracted days, we will absolutely take the time to respond to your client within 24 hours. If a junior needs help, we’ll do that too. We just reconcile the hours burned during your contracted week. Or, if needing help on non-contracted days happens often we can amend the contract to accommodate the extra hours. We’re totally flexible.

3. How do you manage working for multiple agencies?: We’re professional. We do not work for competitive agencies at the same time. There are six different kinds of agencies: Creative, Integrated, Performance (digital), Website/eCommerce (digital), Experiential, Social, B2B, Pharma etc. If you contract us for more than a 6 month period, we’ll give you exclusivity for your type of agency and the market you operate in. We do not offer exclusivity for coaching sessions or terms under 6 months. We will even try to ensure we aren’t working with competitive brands (Coke/Pepsi). We’re also happy to sign NDAs and non-solicitation agreements as needed.

4. How Short or Long is your Term?: We customize our terms and services based on an initial consultation with you to assess how we can maximize our impact for you. Some of our packages are 2-3 weeks in length. Some have been ongoing for years and are scaled up or down as agency needs change.

5. What Are Your Rates for a Fractional Senior Agency Account Director?: We are comparable to a full-time salary – just at an hourly rate. You don’t need to worry about benefits or vacation pay when you work with us. We offer better rates when we work longer terms. Our casual rate is $100/h CAD plus HST (HST is not applicable to US agencies). Contact us to discuss your needs and we can confirm your annual rate.

6. What Are Your Rates for Fractional Business Development?: Our outside sales rate is 10% commission on new business found and sold by RainMaker plus a flat rate for prospecting. Our inside sales rate is 2% on organic growth of accounts during our term with you. Contact us to discuss your needs and we can confirm your commission percentage rate.

7. How Many Clients Do You Take at Once?: Fractional Agency Leadership is new to Canada but it is successful in other countries. One leader can only take 2-3 clients at a time, but we do always want to discuss your needs because we have termed clients with end dates.
